Over the weekend 17-18 May a group of artists from within the Wallop Artists art society organised an exhibition in Stockbridge Town Hall, Hampshire.  The poster was a huge enlargement of my painting, below, which I'm glad to say sold to a good home!

This week I will be taking these 2 paintings to be printed.  They have been commissioned by The Royal Dragoon Guards.  If you ask "why are they facing the same way?  Would it not be better to have them in different directions?", the reason is that this view has the most interest, medals and sword.  The medals are particular to a period in the regiment's long history.  The measurements and layout will be as for other caricatures on my website and interest can be registered with me by email via my site.



I've been idle about this blog but not due to anything other than being frantically busy with exhibitions, work for exhibitions and other things art-related.  If I had time, I might be the person in this recent painting:
